Our Story

At JP Joinery, we take pride in our dedication to delivering personal attention to quality, resulting in meticulously crafted, long-lasting products for both homes and businesses. Our admiration for the natural beauty, originality, durability, and timeless aesthetics of wood sets us apart. No other material exudes the character, warmth, and enduring appeal that wood does.

Specialising in bespoke, handcrafted joinery tailored to individual specifications, we have earned a distinguished reputation for quality work, competitive pricing, and outstanding client relationships. We are proud to be multi-award winning and have been featured across multi-national media many times.

Our diverse clientele includes architects, interior designers, main contractors, builders, and project managers from the professional sector, along with numerous private residential customers. A testament to our commitment to excellence is the fact that most of our work comes from recommendations, underscoring the quality of our bespoke joinery.

Our Team

  • Mitch Foley

    Managing Director

Mitch acquired the business in 2024, from JP who ran the business for many years before. His past experience is in Carpentry & Joinery, he also runs a bespoke high-end Concrete staircase company.

  • Richard Boakes

    Workshop Manager

Richard joined us in 2008, since then he’s been our workshop managing wizard. He’s a big Manchester United fan.

  • James Smith

    Bench Joiner

James has been with the business for over 10 years. When he’s not working with wood, you’ll find him enjoying cricket or supporting West Ham at the Football.

  • Tim Quick

    Bench Joiner

Tim has been with us since 2019. When he’s not cutting, shaping and working with timber you’ll catch him (or maybe you won’t!) running or making music.

Our Workshop

In order to provide you with the varied services that we offer, we need a tailor-made space to ideate, plan and execute our vision.

We have a custom-fitted 3,300 SqFT workshop in the weald of Kent with a range of machinery and tooling stations.

Some of the highlights are a Weining machine, T12 Spindle, Spindle Moulder, Surface Planer, SCM Sandya, New Martin T60 and a Dominion EF20 Ripsaw.

Working with wood, tools and sharp blades day in day out means that our Health & Safety procedures are of utmost importance to us. Our H&S record is fantastic and our staff wellbeing is our first priority.
